Pensthorpe Adventure Play Fakenham – 6 miles

Gilly Crabbing, Wells-next-the-Sea – 8.1 miles
Get kitted out with an eco-friendly natural crabbing line, steel bucket and some bacon! You can hire or purchase the essential equipment at shops in Wells-next-the-Sea, Blakeney, Brancaster and Burnham Overy. Try Blakeney Quay, Burnham Overy Staithe, Wells Harbour Quay or any of the bridges on the marshes at Morston.
Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure, Weston Longville – 18.6 miles

North Norfolk Railway – Holt 31 miles

Another great day out for railway fans on this narrow gauge steam railway from Wells. Just a 20-minute drive from our family friendly cottages at Cranmer.
Blickling Hall – 20.9 miles
With gardens, walking trails and more, there’s plenty to do outside at the Blickling Estate with children of all ages – over 4,600 acres to explore, so you won’t run out of walks, with maps of routes to pick up at reception to help you discover Blickling landmarks, views and wildlife.
North Norfolk Riding Centre in Holkham – 5.6 miles
The North Norfolk Riding Centre offers lessons for all ages from beginners upwards and hacking in beautiful countryside. Occasional rides at Holkham for experienced riders only.
Seal spotting off the north Norfolk Coast – 14.1 miles

Bewilderwood Family Adventure Park – 35.6 miles
Age 7 years and above. An award-winning attraction and very popular with young families however it is a complete day out as it is near the Broads with a longer car journey.
