Our purpose built, eco-friendly venue caters for all your needs; an off-site meeting venue for the day, a away from the office meeting room for a couple of hours, a training or conference facility for the week or simply a quiet place to hold that important meeting.
Set in the quiet Norfolk countryside surrounded by rolling farmland close to the beautiful North Norfolk coast and cultural and retail hub of Norwich, The Norfolk Country Venue is ideally located for both business and leisure.

Norfolk Country Venue can be hired a self-catering basis or we can provide all levels of catering from tea & biscuits to fine dining.
The Green Room is ground floor level and fully accessible. It has up to date communications technology and data projectors and a large screen TV for presentations. It can seat up to 18 with a boardroom layout up to 24 for a theatre style.
Stay on site
The Green Room is a stand-alone facility which can be booked alongside the cottages as part of a bespoke venue package.
The nearby luxury holiday cottages can accommodate multiple families or large groups so you don’t have to worry about travelling back to different hotels at the end of the night. Cranmer Country Cottages can even offer large interconnecting cottages for extended family or larger groups of friends who want to stay together. The spacious and well-equipped holiday cottages have large glazed doors that open out onto garden terraces and acres of beautiful countryside. The luxury holiday cottages are ideally located for costal walks, cycle rides and bird watching. There are also plenty or places where you can find excellent local food and drink with views over the rural Norfolk landscape.
You will also find tennis courts, a games room and a heated indoor swimming pool.
Cottages can be booked together groups of 2,4,5 6 or 8 members. Groups need to book for a minimum of 2 night stays in our cottages and if the entire site is booked the games room can become a second breakout area and the grounds for team building activities.
Dining at Norfolk Country Venue
The recently converted barn will seat up to 18 guests for a sit down meal or up to 30 for a buffet style event. The open studio space includes a dramatic low energy lighting system and under floor heating alongside a quality AV setup for showing films and delivering presentations. There is an independent galley kitchen as a base for caterers to use and two WCs, including one that is wheelchair user accessible.
We are now offering our guests a chance to book a private chef experience through Dineindulge. Combining a personal chef hire service with restaurant quality cuisine, Dineindulge makes it simple for you to book a chef to prepare fresh gourmet food at a time you want them.

Room Layouts
The Green Room can be used for a range of functions and events, from presentations to birthday parties. The function room furniture can be arranged in a variety of layouts, including 3 large round tables for buffets or a single long dinning table.
We are justly proud of our elite green tourism business scheme Gold Award and are committed to providing clients with an ethical and responsible experience which is clear to see throughout our award winning 5-star letting cottages, swimming pool and meetings venues including:
- Provision of recycling facilities in all cottages and
conference area - Supply of recycled pens, pencils, paper, conference folders and tent cards
- Unused water is used to water our plants
- Glass bottles are recycled
- Fairtrade tea and coffee is served at breaks
We booked Garden House, Avocet & Woodpecker for a surprise birthday party for my son. It was such a brilliant weekend and I would like to thank you for recommending Susi; she was marvellous and the food was perfect. Hope to return to Cranmer Cottages in the near future and would thoroughly recommend them to everyone.

We have just returned from a great weekends stay at Cranmer Cottages. Garden House was brilliant, very spacious with high quality decor, and very clean. The large garden area to the rear of the cottages is great for kids to play, and the pool was lovely. We will definitely be booking again.
The Eco Barn was a lovely place to stay we were pleasantly surprised the Garden House and Avocet were actually connected not just 2 buildings next to each other which was great for our stay. Plenty to keep the children entertained and over all very comfy place to stay. Only a short drive from wells next the sea for a day trip out too. Highly recommend for somewhere to stay in Norfolk.
Came across this hidden gem by accident and would like to keep it our secret ! However so pleased they are doing well. A lot of care and detail has gone into the renovation of these barns including a fab swimming pool and an essential games room for kids.
There is so much more on offer. Quiet lanes linking pretty villages with duck ponds and great pubs, watch out for the wild life on the way, brown hares and barn owls don't seem very shy as they go about their business.
If you're looking for a luxury, family stay in North Norfolk, this is it. If you're looking for a luxury, ecologically aware family stay, this is it too.
