Norfolk Folk – Lynne Johnson

Attracted to the beautiful coastline and weekend sailing at Burnham Overy Staithe, Lynne moved to Norfolk from London with husband John & daughter Emily in 1999.

Lynne & John had a vision for their self-catering holiday cottage business beyond the pile of abandoned redundant farm buildings they purchased in 1998. Cranmer Country Cottages a luxury self-catering complex opened in 2000.

It is a business that never stands still. Lynne & John have worked hard to develop the former dairy farm into an award- winning & sustainable family friendly accommodation business with luxury onsite leisure facilities set in 175 acres of rolling farmland close to the North Norfolk coast.
