SLEEPS 2 – SINGLE STORY ANNEXE END COTTAGE
End Cottage Annex offers spacious luxury for couples travelling with their canine companion.
If you are a couple who like to enjoy a self-catering holiday in a dog friendly cottage with your furry companion, or just like to enjoy more space to spread out, this is the place for you. End Cottage Annex is dog-friendly End cottage’s single-story annex all on the ground floor without the use of the upstairs rooms. The extended living space and king-sized bed room downstairs provides plenty of space for a couple travelling with their pet or with an infant requiring a travel cot. Next door to the bedroom is a bathroom with shower and WC. You have access to private gardens and private bike storage in the former garden wash house. You will also enjoy access to the indoor pool and all of the amenities at Cranmer Country Cottages. You can stay in our only dog friendly cottage without having to pay for additional bedrooms & space you don’t need. End Cottage Annex is available for 2 person + infant occupancy only, and is only available at specified times of the year. The upper rooms are closed during your stay.
If you wish to book for more than two, or during peak periods, please book End Cottage itself.
On the ground floor you have a spacious and comfortable bedroom with a king-sized bed and adjacent bathroom. There is a large living space and very well-equipped kitchen with a fridge freezer range cooker, coffee machine & microwave plus a boot room to store wellies and doggie paraphernalia. The living room has a wood burning stove for cosy winter evenings and French windows look out over the terrace into the private gardens, a short walk away from the tennis courts.
The cottage has fibre broadband and a smart TV so you can stay up to date with Netflix & amazon prime, there is also a DAB radio I-pod dock and a selection of books and games.
The upper rooms are closed off during your stay – you will have the property to yourselves.
We welcome dogs to End Cottage Annex as it has its own private Garden. However dogs are not allowed on the main Cranmer Country Cottages complex, car park, gardens or tennis court area
NB The neighbouring properties are owner occupied and not owned by us. Our luxury holiday complex is set on our privately owned farm and end cottage is part of the local rural community.

We try to engender a friendly laid- back feel to our place, where guests can come and go freely in the knowledge that if something goes wrong there is usually someone around to help. We do have a few rules in place as this makes for a better and safer experience for everyone. As a green business we believe that “less is more” however this should not mean fewer home comforts for our guests. We have done a lot of the heavy lifting in terms of energy & water management, however there is always more we can do, as there really is no plan B.
Please observe the following Property Rules before you book and during your stay:
- Check-in: After 16:00
- Check out: 10:00
- Self-check-in with lockbox
- No smoking in the cottages or on site.
- No parties or events
- Pets are not allowed on the main site. Up to 2 medium sized dogs are welcome to stay in End Cottage
- Pool rules must be observed. See our pool rules here
- Children must be supervised at all times
- No extra guests without permission.
- No noise outdoors or in the cottages or games room after 10.00pm
- No Fireworks Chinese lanterns or drones.
- No EV charging with a cable directly from the cottages
- Do not plug in heavy use external electrical items ie: air conditioning units or catering equipment. We have a 2-phase supply and this will overload our electrical supply!
- Please sort waste into household waste & recyclables before you throw.
- CCTV is in use in the car parking areas and pool Hall.
What a fantastic place to come and stay. we stayed in End cottage for a long weekend with two dogs so a nice secure garden was fab to have. Victoria sponge cake supplied on arrival, milk in fridge , tea and coffee all there. What more can we say.
Lovely pool with jet stream, great child’s activity room, fantastic tennis court and even a safe kids outdoor play area. Great home from home accommodation.

Thank you very much for the accommodation at End Cottage this weekend. The cottage is beautiful and we very much enjoyed our stay. The pool was such a huge bonus and our little ones, who have been unable to swim much over this last year derives a lot of benefit. I very much we will be able to visit you again as it really was the perfect spot.

A lovely stay. We throughly enjoyed the cottage and facilities. We didn’t need for anything as it was all provided.
We have just returned from a fabulous weeks cycling based at Cranmer Country Cottages in North Norfolk from which we cycled over 300 miles on the some of the best English lanes you could hope to find. As club cyclists who have enjoyed lots of Great Britain and Europe on a bike we think Norfolk is a real gem.
Just wanted to say thank you for the wonderfully comfortable - totally enjoyable - Christmas. We’re all agreed we had the best time and End Cottage was perfect for us all
