Property Details
End Cottage looks out onto rolling countryside and is ideal for families with pets. Located on the edge of a farm, End Cottage is perfect for experiencing North Norfolk’s wide open spaces with golden beaches, cycling on quiet country lanes or sampling some of the best of local pubs and restaurants. It’s also a great place to access North Norfolk’s nature and bird reserves. For a break from nature there is a number of National Trust and privately owned country houses, English Heritage sites, great shopping in Holt, Burnham Market and Norwich and simply the best local food and real ale anywhere.
The cottage has gardens front and rear and ample parking for 3 cars in front of the cottage out of sight of the road. There is also secure storage for bikes and a small boat.
Entering through the boot room which is large enough for a dog crate/bed there is a large open plan kitchen/living area. There is also a downstairs w.c. & shower room.
The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven and hob, American style fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a large dining table seating eight and enough pots, pans and other equipment to make you feel right at home. We supply a starter box of eco-products for your arrival.
The kitchen leads to the open plan living space with comfy sofas, large plasma TV, DVD player and a Sky box. There is also an iPod docking station, books and games and wifi. Sliding patio doors lead out to a large terrace with barbeque for alfresco entertaining.
On this floor is also the fourth bedroom with double bed, wardrobe and dressing table.
Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms and a twin room (which can be converted into a 3rd double) and a modern fully tiled bathroom. Beds are made up with crisp white sheets and we supply fluffy white towels. We ask that you bring your own swimming pool & beach towels.
The accomodation is pet and child friendly. Travel cot, high chair and baby bath are available.
Secure out-of-sight storage for bikes or a small boat or other sports equipment is available. If you don’t want to bring your own bike, cycle hire is available locally.
We welcome dogs to End cottage as it has its own private Garden. However dogs are not allowed on the main Cranmer Country Cottages complex, car park, gardens or tennis court area
NB The neighbouring properties are owner occupied and not owned by us. Our luxury holiday complex is set on our privately owned farm and end cottage is part of the local rural community.
Please note this property has zip & link beds which can be used as either 2 x 2ft 6” singe beds OR 1 x 5ft king sized bed.

We try to engender a friendly laid- back feel to our place, where guests can come and go freely in the knowledge that if something goes wrong there is usually someone around to help. We do have a few rules in place as this makes for a better and safer experience for everyone. As a green business we believe that “less is more” however this should not mean fewer home comforts for our guests. We have done a lot of the heavy lifting in terms of energy & water management, however there is always more we can do, as there really is no plan B.
Please observe the following Property Rules before you book and during your stay:
- Check-in: After 16:00
- Check out: 10:00
- Self-check-in with lockbox
- No smoking in the cottages or on site.
- No parties or events
- Pets are not allowed on the main site. Up to 2 medium sized dogs are welcome to stay in End Cottage
- Pool rules must be observed. See our pool rules here
- Children must be supervised at all times
- No extra guests without permission.
- No noise outdoors or in the cottages or games room after 10.00pm
- No Fireworks Chinese lanterns or drones.
- No EV charging with a cable directly from the cottages
- Do not plug in heavy use external electrical items ie: air conditioning units or catering equipment. We have a 2-phase supply and this will overload our electrical supply!
- Please sort waste into household waste & recyclables before you throw.
- CCTV is in use in the car parking areas and pool Hall.
We have just returned from a fabulous weeks cycling based at Cranmer Country Cottages in North Norfolk from which we cycled over 300 miles on the some of the best English lanes you could hope to find. As club cyclists who have enjoyed lots of Great Britain and Europe on a bike we think Norfolk is a real gem.
What a fantastic place to come and stay. we stayed in End cottage for a long weekend with two dogs so a nice secure garden was fab to have. Victoria sponge cake supplied on arrival, milk in fridge , tea and coffee all there. What more can we say.
Just wanted to say thank you for the wonderfully comfortable - totally enjoyable - Christmas. We’re all agreed we had the best time and End Cottage was perfect for us all
Lovely pool with jet stream, great child’s activity room, fantastic tennis court and even a safe kids outdoor play area. Great home from home accommodation.
Thank you very much for the accommodation at End Cottage this weekend. The cottage is beautiful and we very much enjoyed our stay. The pool was such a huge bonus and our little ones, who have been unable to swim much over this last year derives a lot of benefit. I very much we will be able to visit you again as it really was the perfect spot.

An amazing stay. The cottage was beautifully decorated, modern and very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed, most importantly a sunny secure lawned garden for our pups to use. Would definitely stay at End Cottage again!
